I have a problem with my mare; sometimes after turning a barrel, she takes about a stride or two and then kicks out with her right back leg. It is not a buck, she just kicks straight out.  I tried to find consitency with whether she is making a right or left handed turn, but it has changed.  At first i thought it was her just being nasty, but now starting to think there is something bothering her.  She doesn't do it all the time, but it has become more often.

We had a horse that did this several years ago. When we went to the vet, it was diagnosed as hock problems.
