Jeremy Hassell, a very well known barrel racer in Central and Southeast Texas, had to be rushed to the emergency room this week.  His condition is going to require surgery, with an extended hospital stay.  Jeremy does not have insurance, is self employed as a trainer of barrel horses.  Jeremy has had to send the horses being trained home and will not have his needed income during his recovery.  Jeremy is 25 years old, from Magnolia, TX.  Now lives in the Austin, TX area.  Jeremy, has been running barrels at many of the areas associations for a number of years: NBHA TX30, NBHA TX24, NBHA TX27, NBHA TX28, CTBRA, STBRA, WRAPN3, TEXAS HILL COUNTRY.

More information will been available soon.  A Benefit Barrel Race is also in the works.
