Hi Martha:

Can you tell me the differences in the hackamores sold on your site (as far as flex, rate, lift, etc)?

I am really interested in the JD Hackamore and the Swivel Shank Hack......and of course I am curious about the Medium Shank and S Shank.

Thanks so much.

The s-shank is the least of the group of hackamores - not much whoa, a
little flex, works more like a side pull on a lot of horses.  The medium
shank has a medium amount of whoa and some flex, not a lot of lift as far as
hackamores go.  The swivel shank has a lot of flex and more whoa because it
has a longer shank.  The one with the most lift, rate and probably flex
because it has more purchase and shank would be the JD hackamore - it comes
with either a rope nose band or a chain nose band.
