This is how they run barrels at Appolaso shows. I saw this on another board and almost spewed my DP all over my screen. I can't ever see this happening with me on any horse...lol Even Kayla's "lil" fellera..Be the person in the middle of the arena... NOT!!!!

AND then to top it off..... this is how they place/win.... doesn't WBR look even better...lol
They will run elimination times to get down to 16 horse brackets, so 8 sets of runs, the winners of each then run each other till the person in first place has won each of their matches. A horse could run 4-5 times in a class of 20.

Camas Prairie Stump Race is what's it's called I believe.....when I had my app I wanted to run him in the app shows, but once I saw this is how it's done.....and the amt of times they may have to run....I said Nope, no way.....but I've also heard they will run them normal if the arena is too small to do this way......but yes this is how most all of the appaloosa shows are done for barrels....

I have also seen it where they have the 2 patterns set with 3 barrels set across the arena as first and second barrels then 2 sitting down at the end for 3rd barrels.. both horse take off across the line and race home together... (hence the NO LEFT HANDED HORSES) No wonder appy have a bad name... their BLOWN up after making a weekend of these kind of runs! Could ya'll see me trying this on the old app mare Souix Dawg?????? She would have made a mess of this!!!!
