No positive news yet.
There was a candlelight vigil held last night. Very moving to hear the music on the radio this morning.
Equisearch is still there.
On another note - there was a homicide victim found near the area (in Kenefick) so the media has some mixed up messages that Gene was found, but that was not the case. Equisearch was helping with the search for both. I was unaware of the 2nd one.
It sure is scary place around our small town this week.

I don't know which station, just that the media was calling the folks in both locations for info and had the two confused. And the detectives were calling the sheriff's dept to make sure that everyone stayed straight.

This is terrible news to hear. I don't personal know Gene Roberts but this hits hard to the rodeo & horse world some of my friends and family do know him...I pray to my Heavily father to find Gene safe and bring him back to his family safe...Hold on Gene there coming for you.

I had only met him a couple times at the rodeo I was doing secretary work for this Summer. But he is heavy on my heart now and can't imagine how hard this is for his family. I keep waiting for news that he found a place to wait and is waiting for the water to recede or for searchers to find him.
