The weather is bad, the electricity is off at the facility and they have decided to cancel.   As soon as he gets home they will look at the schedule for rescheduling it and he said he would be making refunds as soon as they can.

It was bad.  I went up on Wednesday night and it started raining sometime through the night.  Woke up to water everywhere and ice on the trailers and trucks.  Wind was blowing and it was cold.  Kathy, Carolyn, Emily and I loaded up and went to Atwoods to get a few things when the power went off.  Then we decided we were hungry so we went up the street to Eduardo's and ate.  About the time we finished eating, the power went off in there.  So we headed back to the Fair Grounds.  When we pulled in there was about 15 trucks sitting in the parking lot.  They were tree trimming trucks waiting on Standby.  I went to the barn and ran into Chuck and Phill and they had just called everything off.  Jack Brooks, OM and Duane were still there and told me to hurry up and get hooked up that I could still get down 81 to Duncan.  So I worked hard and fast to get my trailer hitch unfroze and my tail gate.  Finally after and hour of beating and pouring hot water on everything and 4 cans of Deicer, I finally got loaded and on the road running about 20 mph headed towards Duncan.  I made it home last night around 8:30.  I left Chickasha round 4-4:30.  Kathy was about 20 min. behind me.  Marlow was hit really bad when I went through it.  Downed trees everywhere and power lines.  I really feel sorry for these people.  I'm just glad to be home safe and warm.

Have a friend that works for Centerpoint - they are sending crews to OK for freeze recovery.  Prayers for these people - what a mess...

Yes, Kathy the weather was all you fault that weekend!!!!LOL. Sorry you'll are not going to be there during the make up date. It was really hard to get anything rescheduled due to all of the other events going on during the year and the very few open dates that the arena had. I think I would be safe by going ahead and crawling out on a limb and saying that I am pretty sure another ice storm will not get us on the make up date...LOL
