FORT WORTH, Texas
– The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame and the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History launches a joint ticket program on Saturday, May 28. Guests can purchase one ticket for both museums at either location, creating a partnership that gives more to museum-goers.

“This is truly exciting,” said Patricia Riley, executive director of the National Cowgirl Museum. “Being right across the street from one another, visitors can spend the entire day with both of us.”

This joint partnership developed out of the desire to enhance visitor experiences in the Cultural District. While both museums offer different exhibits, each share the same vision to attract guests from all over North Texas to experience the cultural richness of Fort Worth.

“The idea of cross ticketing demonstrates the close relationship we have with the National Cowgirl Museum,” said Van Romans, president of the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. “By working together, both institutions have benefited from the relationship but ultimately, the visitor benefits the most.”

This partnership is a win-win situation for both museums and the public.

“Creating an easy admission process that’s valid at both popular museums is wonderful,” said Douglas Harman, President and CEO of Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau. “The family-friendly nature of each institution coupled with their close proximity, make these attractions great compliments for people of all ages.”

For ticket prices and general information, please call either the National Cowgirl Museum at 817/336-4475 or the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History at 817/255-9300.
