Dear WTBRA Members:

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer – I know for me – it is going by just a little too fast….I had a million things to do this summer – and believe it or not – I haven’t done any of them….OH Well – there is always next summer….

POINTS ---If everyone will please look over the point standings and participation points – double check yours…..There are several of you – and only one of me – and I don’t want to miss a point for anyone…..Several members have been dropped from the point standings, mostly due to the participation rule that was put into effect for this year.  You must have entered at least 5 races before October 1, 2008, in order to be eligible for year-end awards.... 

AWARDS --- I would like to ask everyone – to please e-mail me with any ideas you may have for year end awards….We have been thinking of different awards that can be given and would really appreciate any suggestions you may have….Anything from Electronics to horse brushes….Sorry, Raylene, we just can’t find it in the budget to give that horse trailer – at least not this year…..hahahaha!!

MEETING --- Our General Membership meeting will be at the Sweetwater barrel race, September 21, 2008…..We will have the meeting in between the exhibitions and the 8 & under as we have done in the past….We will start the Exhibitions early – and end them early (times to be decided at a later date), then we will allow an hour to an hour & half for the meeting – and start the 8 & under @ 2pm…..

Please have any and all ideas & suggestions ready to discuss…..and nominations for officers & directors….
