Prayers for Adrienne Driskill

Adrienne was bucked off a horse yesterday.  She is at Harris Downtown with a fracture in her neck, compression fractures in her T2 and T4 vertebra, a fractured collar bone and broken rib.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.  As you can imagine, she is in severe pain.

I WAS WONDERING ABOUT THE GIRL BUT NEVER HEARD ANYTHING AT THE BARRELRACE.  GOOD THINGS FOR HER REAL SOON.  PRAYERS..   WARS  :( :'(

Adrienne wasn't the girl hurt at the barrel race. She was bucked off at her house. Prayers for the other girl too though. Seems like I heard something about it being her tailbone or something?  That has to hurt!

I just talked to Adriennes son Ryan. They were saying last night that her collar bone was just fractured. But come to find out,  it is completely snapped in half. I tell ya,  she is one tough lady!  She never shed a tear and put up a pretty good fight before we convinced her we needed to call an ambulance!  She was in a LOT of pain!

I'm headed to the hospital now so I should have a new update shortly.

Just left the hospital. They are keeping her another night for observation and will reevaluate in the morning. She sat up in bed for a while and ate some of her lunch. She says she's feeling a little better.

Wow, what a list of injuries, hope you have some great pain meds. Get well soon, our older bodies take longer to heal.

Adrienne was released from the hospital today.  She's getting around really slow but feeling pretty good considering.  She will have to wear the neck brace for 6 weeks, no lifting, bending, etc.  Hopefully we can convince her to let us do things for her and she can just sit and mend!  She's one of the toughest people I've ever known!  SO thankful her injuries weren't worse than they are!

I'm sure she'll let you do things for her for a while...at first. But she's so active, she's going to start going crazy. Been there...
