MAJOR GIFT ENSURES MORE PEOPLE GET THAT SPECIAL RIDE
America’s Horse, June 18, 2007 – All it takes is one ride, and from now through 2009 America’s Horse Cares will have the opportunity to provide many more rides, thanks to a major gift from AQHA’s corporate partner Farnam. The official dewormer of AQHA, Farnam, will be donating $250,000 plus deworming products to America’s Horse Cares, the newest program of the American Quarter Horse Foundation.
“We are grateful to receive such a substantial gift from Farnam,” said Foundation Executive Director Gary Carpenter. “While this donation is not directly tied to sales of Farnam products, it goes without saying that when AQHA members purchase Farnam products, it makes gifts like this one possible.”
America’s Horse Cares helps to fund special-needs individuals and organizations that benefit from equine experiences and is an official program of the American Quarter Horse Foundation. The Foundation provides the financial support to the organizations that provide the special opportunity of therapeutic riding.
Farnam has been an AQHA Corporate Partner since 2004. In addition to being the official dewormer of AQHA, Farnam is the supplier of the official grooming and conditioning products of AQHA. The Phoenix, Arizona-based company sponsors the Vetrolin® Champion Trainer Award of the Bank of America® Racing Challenge, and co-sponsors the AQHA World Championship Show as well as the Bayer Select World Championship Show. Farnam also is a presenting sponsor of the AQHA Regional Experiences.
