New York, NY – Blood-Horse Publications was recognized for its “What’s in a Name?” advertising campaign on Wednesday evening, October 3 at the 2007 American Business Media Creative Excellence in Business Advertising (CEBA) Awards Program, held at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York. Honoring outstanding achievement in business advertising, the CEBAs draw hundreds of entries annually from the advertising industry’s brightest minds and are business media’s most coveted creative award. Blood-Horse Publications’ “What’s in a Name?” campaign was recognized as one of three finalists in the “Campaign” category for advertising campaigns with budgets under one-hundred thousand dollars. The series of 2006 print advertisements profiled subscribers and advertisers and their respective relationship with the company’s flagship publication, The Blood-Horse.

This year, ABM brought together a legendary panel of advertising industry judges that selected thirty-three finalists in all and eleven 2007 award winners. The judges included Nader Ashway of The Ashway Group, Don Schneider of BBDO, and 2007 Hall of Famer Nina DiSesa of McCann-Erickson Worldwide. Founded in 1906, American Business Media is the global association serving the print, digital, and event needs of business information providers.
