$5,000 added will be distributed among top Paints competing at RSNC

FORT WORTH—The American Paint Horse Association (APHA) and the Ranch Sorting National Championships (RSNC) have teamed up to provide incentives for Paint Horses to compete in the sport of ranch sorting.

The three-year agreement signed recently by both groups sets up $5,000 added money for the APHA ranch sorting classes held during the APHA World Championship Show during the fall. Meanwhile, an additional $5,000 will be distributed by RSNC to the high money-winning Paint horses in each state.

One important facet of the agreement is that RSNC-sanctioned events can be dual-approved with APHA, making them APHA World Show qualifying events for registered American Paint Horses. It is one way that APHA and RSNC will work actively to attract horse enthusiasts to Ranch Sorting National Championships competition and the APHA World Championship Show.

For more information about getting your event dual-approved with APHA, please contact the APHA Performance Department.

The Ranch Sorting National Championships is based in Wellington, Colorado. Their mission is to preserve the heritage and integrity of the ranching lifestyle while providing a family-oriented, competitive riding experience.
