Peyton Raney's, father Jack Raney passed away at 11:20 am on friday the 25th . They found out he had cancer on May 2 2004. he was married to a barrel racer also named Karen Raney. They would also like to say "Thanks for all the prayers. Funeral information can be located at www.cpmfuneralhome.com . The family appreciates all the prayers and help that they received during their time of need."
This came to me while chopping wood the other day. You've heard don't sweat the small stuff. I say save it for later and use it for kindling

We learned a lot from Jack. He knew his horses well. He will always be a part of our barrel racing history. When we think of the great horse "Hotshot", we will be thinking of Jack too! We will miss him dearly and will be praying for the family.

I'm very sad to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with you. I always remember a suggestion he gave me at Mineral Wells rodeo years ago that changed how I view leg wraps to this day.

Jack was my grandpa. I really loved him. We did a bunch of stuff together, like fishing, eating out, watching T.V.,and going swimming at my coison's pool.
