BRAT will be hosting the sixth point jackpot of the 2012-2013 season this Sunday, October 28th at JCSP Cleburne Outdoor Arena. We will be awarding winter blankets to the winners of each D in the Open and Youth (with an optional $10 award fee). Books open at 9:00 AM; exhibitions start at 10:00 am; 15 & Under Youth 4D runs at 2:00 pm followed by the $100.00 added Open 5D. Exhibitions do fill up very fast so come early and sorry we can't take call-ins. Youth entry fee is $20 and Open entry fee is $25. We do NOT have the option to move inside so if weather is questionable please “call before you haul”. As always non-members are very welcome!
BRAT can't express how much we need every contestant to fully complete your entry card. The entry table will not be able to process an entry until the card is fully complete. This means every block filled out. If you are member you need to mark YES; if you are not then mark NO. Members - if you are running two or more horses you MUST mark/pick/choose your Point Horse for the day on your entry form. The rule states you will receive the lowest set of points if you fail to mark it before you run. Also, complete address means street number, street name, city and zip. Reminder for our Youth runners – BRAT’s youth class is 15 & Under as of May 1, 2012. If you enter the youth class your entry form MUST have a date of birth on the card. Once again, the entry table will not be able to process the entry until this is completed.
FUND RAISER TIME! How many bears can we sell??? The cute teddy bears from Avon are $19.99 each and BRAT will receive 40% of the sales which will help towards the purchase of our year-end awards. The bears can be purchased for yourself or purchase one to donate to the toy drive or even both! They must be paid for when you order and they will be ready to deliver at our Lost and Forgotten race on December 8th at Diamond W arena. There will also be order forms this weekend that you can take with you to help sell the bears. BRAT will award $50.00 to the high selling member too! This event is being coordinated by our office staff ran by our Avon Representative Pashia Blalock. Thanks Pashia!!!
