Aut viam inveniam aut faciam - I will either find a way or make one.  "Can't lives on Won't street."

Let us be reminded of what Captain John Parker told his army at Lexington Green, the place where the War for Independence began in 1775. He said, “Stand your ground. Don’t fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, let it begin here.

I seem to recall that there was some confusion on the splits for poles several years back.  Can anyone clarify that the poles class is 3D whole-whole-whole split and the barrels is 5D 1/2, 1/2, 1/2, 1/2 split?  Got my entry fee printed out and ready to send off, but just want to confirm before I jump ...

Thank you - that's great - what are the time splits?  1/2 second?

And barrels?  are they 5D with 1/2 second splits as well?

In the POLE BENDING the splits are Half, Half, Whole, Whole
In the BARREL RACING the splits are Half Seconds

Thank you for this information!

I just haven't been able to find these details - I see that your website and FB page have the entry forms - could you refer me to a site where I can see all the show details and could someone explain the payout, please??

This race has been on my bucket list for years, but I'm leery of entering until I have the details.  Thank you.

ANHA is a 5D Barrel & Pole Bending
There is $12,500 Added to Barrels
$5,000 Added to Poles
We are Equal Payout
Each Day is a Separate Race
We take the top 15 from Each D from Each Day to the ShootOut on Monday
The Best Average in each D wins the Saddle in the Barrels
We give buckles away each Day in each D of the Barrels
The All Around is decided by the best time from the Qualifying Barrels & Poles and the ShootOut Round Added together
You have to qualify in both.  We don't just take your fastest, but your qualifying time.  The All Around wins a saddle also.
If you have any other questions, please let me know, you can email me at [email protected]

If I may ... I have more questions - and I'm sure others would appreciate the same answers, please, if you don't mind answering them here rather than in e-mail.

I'm not sure I understand this:

The Best Average in each D wins the Saddle in the Barrels
We give buckles away each Day in each D of the Barrels

Do your saddle qualifying times have to be in the same D to qualify for the average award of a saddle?  for instance, say you run a 2D time one day and a 3D time the next - are you out for the saddle because the times are in different Ds?

How are the buckles awarded?  to the winner of each D each day?  only says "we give buckles away each day in each D of barrels" - not to whom?

are there awards for the poles class as well? besides the equal payout and added money?

Do you all close the number of entries?  or is the number of holes paid based on the number of entries, which means we have no idea how many places will be paid until the entries are all in?

what percentage of the entry fees are paid back?

Thank you for your patience with someone who's never participated in this event ...

If you run in the top 15 in the 2d the first day and say you run in the top 15 of the 3d the second day, they will take your fastest time/higher placing d time to be your qualifying time to the shoot out.

If i am wrong someone can correct me.

Correct, your fastest qualifying time determines what D you are in for the shoot out.  How this race differs is  in the shoot out you are just running against your D, it does not matter what the winning 1D time is.  Whatever time you run in the shoot out. , no matter what D it would fall in is combined with your qualifying time to get the average winner for each D.  One year my daughter came back to the shoot out 2nd in the 3D, she ran a 17.4 in the shoot out which normally would put her in the 1D or 2D.  She won the 3D average .  You are just trying to outrun your D.  It is a fun and well, run race!!
