Amarillo, Texas, October 17, 2005 –The 2005 American Quarter Horse Association World Championship Show will feature a special Superhorse Alley and Showcase November 17-19 to commemorate the show’s 30th year in Oklahoma City.

Twelve past Superhorses will be on display in Barn 1 including Reprise Bar, the oldest living Superhorse who won the award in 1984 and Acadamosby Award, the only three-time Superhorse winner with wins in 1998, 2000 and 2001. A special showcase for these living legends will take place Friday night, November 18, after the junior cutting finals just prior to the Ford Truck giveaway.

“I feel this showcase is an important part of AQHA World Show history,” said AQHA Executive Vice President Bill Brewer. “The Superhorse Award is likened to an MVP award and these athletes demonstrate the versatility of the American Quarter Horse.”
