Amarillo, Texas, October 25, 2006 – Get the Q-Bug buzz at this year’s American Quarter Horse Association World Championship Show, and learn everything you wanted to know about the great horses and competitors vying for world champion honors.

Everyone will have the opportunity to take advantage the of Q-Bug live commentary during the FedEx Open Finals, November 15-18 beginning at 7 p.m.

Brought to you by The American Quarter Horse Journal, Q-Bugs were introduced at last year’s World Show and are the latest in AQHA World Show technology. The devices were created in an effort to educate attendees on all aspects of competition. These “bugs” are small, wireless receivers that allow spectators to listen to live commentary by industry professionals during competition.

Q-Bugs are free for public use and may be picked up from The American Quarter Horse Journal staff in the State Fair Park Coliseum concourse beginning November 15 at 6 p.m.

The World Show will be held November 4-18 at State Fair Park in Oklahoma

In addition, American Quarter Horses take center stage on Sunday, January 7, 2007, at 1:30 p.m. Eastern 10:30 a.m. Pacific on NBC Television. The one-hour special, which showcases the American Quarter Horse lifestyle, is based at the World Show and highlights the reining and cutting competition along with other events.
