Amarillo, Texas, November 9, 2006 – The $75,000 Professional’s Choice Claiming Challenge Championship will bring 10 racing American Quarter Horses to battle for the championship title in that division November 11 at Lone Star Park in the 14^th running of the MBNA America ® Challenge Championships.

The Corona Cartel gelding Front Page 007 will bring experience to the field of contenders with 17 career starts and five wins, all of which were this year. Out of Ima Ladys Alibi, the sorrel gelding is owned by Stacey Cinquini and Hemerio Hernandez, and is trained by Hector Jamie Hernandez.

Ida Snow Man might be a favorite in Saturday’s Professional’s Choice Challenge Championship, bringing in a record boasting four wins out of eight starts for the year. With lifetime earnings exceeding $90,000, the 3-year-old gelding by This Snow Is Royal ran second in the 2006 Remington Park Derby (G2) and finished third in the B.F. Phillips Jr Handicap (RG3). Ida Snow Man is owned by Joe and Joyce Platt’s Desirable Properties Inc. of Wimberly, Texas, and is trained by Michael Zinglemann.

The MBNA America Racing Challenge is American Quarter Horse racing’s richest program for all American Quarter Horses. A total of 72 races take place in 11 regions across the United States, Canada, Mexico and South America throughout the year. American Quarter Horses compete in one of six different types of races, depending on their age and ability.

The MBNA America Racing Challenge is a $4.8-million purse and bonus awards program, of which more than 60 percent is added money from AQHA Corporate Partners and host racetracks.
