Amarillo, Texas, March 13, 2007 – The Audit Bureau of Circulation has just released the initial circulation audit for America’s Horse, the official member publication of the American Quarter Horse Association, for the six months ending December 31, 2006.

The magazine, which began publication in September 1998 as a bimonthly publication, became a monthly magazine as of January 1. And for the first time since the magazine began, advertising is now open to commercial advertisers that do not compete with the Association’s corporate partners. By opening its doors, America’s Horse has the lowest CPM of all major equine publications.

ABC’s audit report for America’s Horse will appear in the magazine’s media kit and will show a total paid and verified circulation of 311,916. Advertisers who want a copy of this report can call Kim McKinney, director of advertising for America’s Horse or view it online at http://www.aqha.com/magazines/pdf/AH%20initial%20audit.pdf.

“We are pleased to have our first audit released so quickly after opening advertising in the magazine,” said Jim Jennings, AQHA Executive Director of Publications. “It was important to us to have /America’s Horse/ become an ABC member and give our circulation numbers that added credibility.”

America’s Horse, based in Amarillo, Texas, connects AQHA members to a lifestyle centered around the American Quarter Horse. The magazine targets the recreational riders and home-based horsemen comprising the majority of AQHA’s membership.
