FORT WORTH, TEXAS—The American Paint Horse Association (APHA) recently recognized 11 talented horses with All-Breed awards for their accomplishments in the United States Eventing Association’s (USEA) competition. Awards were given for outstanding performances in events governed by USEA. For an American Paint Horse to be eligible for an All-Breed Award, it must be registered with both APHA and USEA, and the rider must be a member of both organizations. Awards are given in eventing’s Preliminary, Training, Novice, Intermediate and Advanced Levels. For more information about Paint Horses and awards for which they are eligible, contact APHA at
Excitement was in the air as 430 former Josey students came back to run at the 13th Annual Josey Reunion Round-Up on April 28-30th 2006, sponsored by World Champions R.E. and Martha Josey at their ranch nestled in the pine trees of Marshall, Texas. The weekend was full of competition using the 4D format that the National Barrel Horse Association started over 10 years ago. R.E. and Martha are National Directors of the NBHA and they love this format.
