CODY, WYOMING – Wyoming’s chief wildlife veterinarian says Brucellosis is probably here to stay. Dr. Terry Kreeger says in the history of wildlife management, no disease has ever been eliminated, and he predicts brucellosis will be in the Greater Yellowstone region for decades to come. Kreeger gave a seminar on Western wildlife diseases in Cody Tuesday night. He reported Wyoming has all the major ungulate diseases, except tuberculosis. He said Blue Tongue, or Hemmoragic disease kills more deer in the U.S. and Wyoming than any other malady. For more info click hereÂ
