GREENBUSH — Susan Kilton and her daughter Carly Hakala, 34, firmly believe donkeys can work miracles. Sweetpea, the smallest donkey on their farm near Greenbush, saved Carly’s life. “My daughter has a form of mental illness that is now managed wonderfully due to her special interest and love for donkeys,” Kilton said. Animal control officers in Temple are seeing an increase in the number of Distemper cases that could kill your dog. They said it’s becoming a county-wide problem.
