The American Quarter Horse Journal, September 17, 2009 – Beginning September 21, members of the American Quarter Horse Association will have two days to purchase a limited quantity of tickets to the Alltech-FEI World Equestrian Games, September 25-October 10, 2010, at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington. This opportunity comes as a direct result of AQHA’s sponsorship of the World Equestrian Games. Early ticket sales begin at 12 p.m. EST September 21 and close at 12 a.m. EST September 23. People considering adopting a wild horse might find their equine matches at one of 35 events taking place nationwide during National Wild Horse Adoption Day Sept. 26. Currently about 33,100 mustangs roam federal lands in 10 Western states.
