New World Screwworm Certified Inspector Program

Texas Animal Health Commission (TAHC) and Texas A&M AgriLife have worked together to develop a New World Screwworm (NWS) Certified Inspector Program. This is a first-of-its-kind training program designed to train and certify individuals on myiasis clinical identification, animal inspection, NWS treatment, and NWS movement requirements. To meet the requirements to issue NWS Treatment/Movement Certificates, you must complete the New World Screwworm Preparedness and Response Education course.
