FORT WORTH, Texas – The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame welcomes 22 of the nation’s most distinguished female Western artists to showcase their works during its second Heart of the West Art Exhibition and Sale, March 3 – May 7, 2006. Twenty-nine pieces of Texas history included in “Texas Flags†at the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame will leave North Texas on Sunday, February 12, never to be seen collectively again. The flags will return to the private collections and repositories from which they came.
One of the first art exhibits to bring top female Western artists together for an all female show will be presented by the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.
The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame invites women to pack their bags on May 18 – 21, 2006 and head to Cowgirl University – Kindle the Cowgirl Spirit, for the ultimate immersion into cowgirl culture. This three-day weekend excursion brings women in contact with accomplished cowgirls, offering them a chance to learn true cowgirl skills while experiencing the tranquility of a luxury escape.
Starting Monday, November 14, 2005, the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame will be open seven days a week, offering guests more hours to experience the “cowgirl†spirit.

The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame joins other Fort Worth attractions like Fort Worth Cats Baseball and Fort Worth Museum of Science and History in offering free admission to victims of Hurricane Katrina.
