Brazos County has approved approximately a $3 million expansion to the Expo facilities. The Covered Warm-Up Arena will be expanded to a full stall barn, two new Covered Warm-Up Arenas will be added, an additional parking lot will be included, approximately 30 RV space added, and additional improvements to the existing outdoor facilities are planned. Phase III will be funded with Hotel Occupancy Tax funds which are generated by local tourism. Construction is expected to begin this Spring and should be completed by Spring 2017.
