Don’t Miss Foundation Night at the World Show Wednesday, November 9

Amarillo, Texas, October 20, 2005 – The American Quarter Horse Foundation welcomes horse fans of all ages to Foundation Night, Wednesday, November 9, at the AQHA World Championship Show in Oklahoma City.

This special evening will showcase the Foundation’s many programs that enhance the American Quarter Horse industry, including scholarships, equine research, therapeutic riding and Hall of Fame.

The Foundation will feature a touching video depicting the unique bond between horses and people. They’ll offer great giveaways and a preview of the exciting American Quarter Horse Heritage Center & Museum renovation. Plus, spectators will enjoy a heartfelt demonstration of the healing benefits of therapeutic riding.

During Foundation Night, spectators also will enjoy world-class competition in both western and English disciplines, including amateur finals in reining, hunter hack, western pleasure and pleasure driving.

There’s something for everyone on November 9 at the World Show, including free gifts and exciting presentations from your friends at the American Quarter Horse Foundation.

In addition, American Quarter Horses take center stage on Sunday, January 8, 2006, at 4 p.m. Eastern/1 p.m. Pacific on NBC Television. The one-hour special, which showcases the American Quarter Horse lifestyle, is based at the World Show and highlights the reining and cutting competition along with other events.
