Starting a yearling on barrels

Hey Martha I want to start barrei racing wih my yearling and I want to know if there are any ways I can teach my filly to do barrels on the grould so she already knows the barrels?

I’m sure there are probably ways to teach your filly the pattern from the ground but it would be much better if you would just let her grow up and learn to be a horse while she is so young. Her bones and soft tissue need to be more mature before you begin any kind of training involving circles and turns.
