Royal Canin Canada voluntarily recalls pet food products that may contain contaminated rice protein concentrate
Following Royal Canin USA’s discovery of a melamine derivative in rice gluten in some of its dry pet food products, Royal Canin Canada has decided to remove Sensible Choice Diet and certain veterinary prescribed specialty diet products from distribution.
The Texas Animal Health Commission (TAHC), in collaboration with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, is providing animal owners and producers, veterinarians, New World Screwworm (NWS) Certified Inspectors, and other stakeholders with a quick-reference resource outlining current animal movement requirements related to NWS. This platform contains content to facilitate TAHC-compliant movement of animals.
